In the video, the 14-year-old as quietly as a mouse holds up handwritten flashcards detailing the pain he's suffered from being bullied since the first cut it. He also reveals to his parents that he is gay.

"I look happy, right? Well, I'm not. What all you see is the hoax me," he wrote on the cards.  "I've done things I'm not proud of. I've cut. Suicide was an choice. I get bullied every day."

Jonah posted the video in August, in a little while before starting eighth grade. Since Saturday, when the video had 800 views, it has been watched more than 7 million times. 

Many of the comments posted about the video propose Jonah support and encouragement. Mowry's mother told ABC that her son has been overwhelmed from the gushing of good wishes.

The teen has since posted an update that accompanies the video.
