Heading up this year's lineup is acclaimed fiddle expert and singer-songwriter Carrie Rodriguez from Austin, Texas. Rodriguez and Chip Taylor released five full-eventually albums together, and since then Rodriguez has launched her solo career. Rodriguez, who is of Mexican-American descent, will side up at 7:15 p.m. with Knoxville's Cruz Contreras for a Mexican-inspired set on the Ecumenical Stage at the East Tennessee History Center, 601 South Gay St. Later, she will be joined by guitarist Luke Jacobs for a show at The Square Room at Four Market Square at 10:15 p.m. Also appearing at the Straight Room is Knoxville Jazz Orchestra's Dixieland group, from 5-9:30 p.m. The New Orleans-craze jazz will be paired with an optional Cajun-inspired food buffet.

Also at the Worldwide Stage, the African Drum Circle, led by Oba African Drums, will fulfil at 8:15 p.m., and the audience can bring drums and participate. Forbidden Fire Bellydance and Four Leaf Peat orbicular out the international programming at 9:15 and 10 p.m. respectively.
