Days after Newt Gingrich, the demagogic offspring of 1964 Republican presidential nominee Barry Goldwater, successfully pandered to avid-to-intolerant "grass-roots" South Carolina Republican voters, Christie nominated Bruce Harris, an African-American from Chatham, who is freely gay, and Phillip Kwon of Closter , a Korean-American, to the state Supreme Court.

Gingrich's denigration on President Obama as a "food stamp president" appealed to voters perturbed that the world is no longer dominated by white people. Christie, who exactly two years ago dumped the second African-American justice from the court, speedily recast himself as a multicultural maverick, crowing over the court's new "historic tied of diversity."

Christie outdid the moderate Christie Whitman. He even out did the generous Jon Corzine on this one.

Big Boy, as President Bush once called him, staked a claim inside the forgotten GOP's Big Tent. He is effectively betting that the yearn-neglected, moderate center will be a hot investment property four years from now. That's if Newt, fueled by foaming at the mouth conservative activists, routs Mitt Romney this spring, but gets pummeled by President Obama in the collapse – a 21st-century sequel to the GOP's Goldwater debacle of 1964.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - The minority Republican lawmakers sponsored a tenacity this week honoring the anniversary of 100 years of Scouts. This being California, the public struggle with a sort of imbue yards on the poor.

Democrats essentially killed the immutability after criticizing the Boy Scouts to exclude homosexuals. Predictably, the Republicans are annoyed and accused Democrats of defaming a cherished American doctrine.

It does not stop there.
